Background: TAP strategy is a data-driven approach provided by the Center for Disease Control
and Prevention (CDC). This tool determines if current best practices is utilized and
was completedby 21 hospitals in Wisconsin. The goal was to determine if hospitals
that were successful in preventing infections had shared practices as self-reported.
By determining which practices had the greatest likelihood of preventing infections,
these could be encouraged for implementation.
