Validation Study for Automated Cleaning System Effectiveness

      Background: Wheelchairs and other healthcare items have increased bioburden due to daily use and inadequate cleaning. Manual cleaning of healthcare items is time consuming and yields inconsistent outcomes. The study objective is to evaluate the benefits of an automated cleaning system for removal of bioburden and time management. Hypothesis: An automated cleaning machine will clean items in less time with better removal of bioburden based on testing.
